24.06.24 – Luca Albertoni appointed to SERV Board of Directors

The Federal Council has elected Luca Albertoni as a new member of the SERV Board of Directors. He will take office on 1 July 2024 and serve out the rest of the current term of office (2024 to 2027).

10.04.2024 - EAER press release: Swiss Export Risk Insurance SERV: solid financial year 2023

On 10 April 2024, the Federal Council approved the 2023 annual report of Swiss Export Risk Insurance SERV. It recorded a net profit of CHF 13.4 million last year - despite exceptionally high loss expenses of CHF 222.3 million.

On 15 December 2023, the Federal Council approved the strategic objectives of Swiss Export Risk Insurance (SERV) for the period 2024 - 2027. It is maintaining the organisation's current direction.

30.11.23 - Election of the SERV Board of Directors - Ruedi Noser new member of the Board of Directors

The Federal Council has elected Ruedi Noser as a new member of the Board of Directors to replace Christian Etter, who is stepping down. He will take office on January 1, 2024.

26.09.2024 – Switzerland accused of failing to meet its climate commitments

An article in the Swiss daily newspaper "Le Temps" discusses SERV and its revised COP26 guidelines – in the context of the handover of a petition from the Swiss association Campax to SERV, calling for an immediate halt to the support of fossil fuel projects.

7 August 2024 – (Swiss) Confederation supports fossil energy projects abroad

Newsclip in the programme "10vor10" on Swiss Television (SRF) about SERV and SERV's adapted COP26 guidelines. In the interview, SERV was represented by the member of its Board of Directors Ruedi Noser (who is also member of the SERV Insurance Committee). He provided information on the underlying factors for the adjustment of the guideline.

7 June 2024 – SERV supports Swiss companies with their exports

Schweizer Radio (SRF) interview with Barbara Hayoz, Chair of the SERV Board of Directors, at the Swiss Economic Forum (SEF) in Interlaken. In the interview, she answers questions about SERV’s work in challenging markets, the requirements that must be met for SERV insurance, the reasons why SERV recorded exceptionally high loss expenses last year – and the risks that SERV is currently paying particular attention to.
