Four-time winner at the TXF Awards
We work with our partners to get Swiss companies involved in large international projects at an early stage, opening up long-term opportunities for them. In 2025 alone, SERV realised five major infrastructure projects with a combined order value of more than half a billion Swiss francs. Some 50 Swiss companies were involved.
SERV named “ECA of the Year” again
This commitment was recognised with several awards at this year’s TXF Awards. In addition to three awards for projects SERV has supported, SERV itself was named an “ECA of the Year”. The title is awarded based on the TXF industry survey, in which the users of export financing solutions vote for their preferred export credit agency. This judgement thus comes directly from the market.
Three awards for export financing projects
We have now been recognised for our involvement in three major projects at this year’s TXF Awards in the “Export Finance Deals of the Year” category. The award ceremony took place in Prague on 9 June 2026 as part of the TXF Global event.
These awards underscore the quality and international significance of the financing deals that were supported. SERV is rightly proud of the recognition for the following projects:
- “Renewables Deal of the Year 2025” – Zatriq windfarm project
Çalık Enerji secured project financing of 112 million euro for the 73 MW Zatriq windfarm in the Kosovan municipality of Orahovac. This transaction was SERV’s first windfarm financing deal in Kosovo and serves as a financial reference model for future projects of this kind.
Discover more - “Water Deal of the Year 2025” – ProAgua project
The Angolan Ministry of Finance took out a loan of 246 million US dollars, supported by Bpifrance, for the ProAgua water infrastructure project. This transformative initiative seeks to expand and modernise access to water in Luanda and Icolo e Bengo. Swiss companies were commissioned to help deliver the project, and SERV provided Bpifrance with reinsurance for the share of the project delivered by these Swiss entities. - “Healthcare Deal of the Year 2025” – Kokshetau hospital project
Ronesans issued an 86 million euro loan backed by SERV to fund a hospital project in Kazakhstan, implemented by means of a public-private partnership (PPP). This will add capacity of 630 beds and create around 2,500 permanent jobs.
The TXF Awards are regarded in the industry as an important benchmark of outstanding achievements in export financing. The awards bear testament to the relevance and impact of the supported projects and the dedication of all involved.
SERV is very proud of these accolades and would like to thank all the employees who helped make these transactions a reality.
