Thank you, Peter Gisler, for ten years of commitment and foresight
After just under ten years as CEO of SERV, Peter Gisler will hand over operational responsibility to his successor Cristina Schulze-Bergmann from 1 April 2026.
Peter Gisler has exercised a formative influence on the development of SERV over the past ten years. He strengthened cooperation across different departments, established open dialogue within the organisation and consistently aligned operations with clients’ requirements. His leadership style was based on creating clear framework conditions and promoting entrepreneurial responsibility in the teams.
He also purposefully developed SERV’s positioning and advanced the transition from insurer of last resort to trade facilitator. The organisation has grown from about 50 to over 90 employees since 2017. It also now has a substantive basis for the pending revision of the law and digital transformation.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Peter for his visionary leadership, his trust in us and his strong commitment to clients.
