On 30 June 2018, Edith Meier-Streuli will take well-earned retirement, after twelve years as a client advisor at SERV and the predecessor organisation, ERG. From 2011 on she was Deputy Head of Client Advisory & Underwriting. Edith will be missed at SERV, both for her personality and for her expertise and experience. We wish her all the best for this new phase in her life. Recently Brigitte Brüngger joined SERV as Head of Insurance Business, Large Enterprises. We are very pleased to have this addition to our team and wish Brigitte every success and great pleasure in her work.

SERV defines del credere risk (also called economic risk) as the risk that the buyer or guarantor will be unable or unwilling to pay. SERV insures the del credere risk of public- and private-sector buyers. Supplier Credit Insurance covers the risk that documents triggering payment are not prepared or included despite being required by the contract. SERV also provides Working Capital Insurance and Counter Guarantees to protect financial institutions from payment defaults by Swiss exporters.

Today, SERV publishes its Annual Report 2017 . SERV finishes its eleventh financial year once again with positive company earnings, which at CHF 69.8 million are only slightly [...] .8 million were lower than in 2016. These improvements more than compensated for the earnings from debt rescheduling, which were down by CHF 76.9 million.
