When assessing development policy matters, SERV takes account of the principles of Swiss foreign policy. In the case of major deliveries to poorer developing countries, the applicant is required to complete a questionnaire giving information about the impact in the project country on employment, working conditions and social matters. This additional information allows better assessment and appraisal of the development policy consequences in the importing country.
