Some 50 environmental and social specialists from export credit insurers in the OECD area and from Brazil, Slovenia and China took part. The OECD Export Credit Group is tasked with reviewing the “Recommendation on Common Approaches on the Environment and Officially Supported Export Credits” by the end of 2010. This guideline serves as a foundation for the environmental review of export credit insurance transactions – and also applies to SERV. Wight, presently Head of Business Underwriting Office, as its new director. Herbert Wight has many years of experience in the area of export financing and occupied leading positions in this sector at various Swiss banks. He joined SERV at the beginning of 2008. Herbert Wight will replace Dr. Christoph Sievers as of 1 December 2009. Dr. Sievers led the transition of the former ERG to SERV with prudence and great commitment. This transition is now complete.
