Due date

Review and extension premiums are due on invoice receipt.

The insurance premium is due on the due date stated in the invoice. Premiums for supplier and buyer credit insurance up to CHF 250,000 are due on the first date of delivery/commencement of services. 25 percent of premiums above CHF 250,000 are due on issuance of the insurance policy; the remaining 75 percent are due on the first date of delivery/commencement of services.

Premiums for pre-shipment and confiscation risk, as well as contract bond insurance, are due immediately, i.e. on issuance of the insurance policy.

Reimbursement regulations

If SERV approves a change in the content or scope of export credit risk insurance coverage, and the insured maximum or the period of risk changes as a result, we recalculate the insurance premium. For more details, please turn to Premium tariff, chapter 4.2, page 9.
