We support Swiss exporters and financial institutions with our knowledge, our advice in export insurance matters and our insurance solutions. The products and services we offer include insurance policies for the export of consumer and capital goods, construction and engineering work and other services.
Support for Swiss exporters is particularly necessary in the current economic crisis. Since May 2009 and limited to the end of 2001, we are thus offering four new products by order of the Swiss Confederation. These products are designed to help Swiss exporters accept foreign orders in this difficult economic situation.
Most industrialised nations offer exporters public export risk insurance. For this reason, SERV is an important instrument of the Confederation’s economic policy. It ensures the competitiveness of Swiss companies striving to export their goods and services in contested international markets.
