OECD
As a member of the SECO-led Swiss delegation, SERV supports the work of the OECD consensus group and the OECD export credit group.
The OECD consensus reflects agreement among OECD member states to create conditions of equal opportunity in international competition. The agreement specifies minimum standards for officially supported export credits of more than two years, such as payment conditions, credit periods and premium calculations.
Member states of the OECD export credit group set up principles or make recommendations, for instance on the environmental compatibility of export transactions, the fight against corruption in international trade or the sustainability of long-term loans to countries with a high potential for incurring debt.
