Yusufeli Project, Turkey
SERV has received an application for export risk insurance in connection with the Yusufeli Dam project in Turkey.
Because of the scale of the project, the Bundesrat (Swiss Federal Council) will decide whether an export credit can be granted.
On February 14, 2007, the Swiss Federal Council approved a promise of guarantee.
The OECD Guidelines, the economic benefits for Switzerland and foreign policy aspects will play a part in the investigation procedure.
